The Mallorcan skipper is going to take part in the Vendée Globe 2012 round-the-world race without any type of fuel. The first one hundred percent emission-free IMOCA 60 yacht the “Acciona 100% EcoPowered”, was presented in Barcelona this afternoon by its Mallorcan skipper Javier “Bubi” Sansó, who is already preparing to participate in the non-stop, round-the-world race “Vendée Globe 2012”, in which he expects to be competitive against the other yachts, all of which are fitted with diesel engines.
