A round-Europe yacht-racing adventure

3,300 nautical miles taking in 3 cities: Barcelona (Spain), Cascais (Portugal) and La Rochelle (France). Everything’s all set for the off on May 18th 2012—and it promises to be unique. This is the race’s second year and it sets out to go beyond the sporting side of the event and raise environmental awareness across the whole of Europe. The aim is to speak out on the fight on climate change and in defense of renewable energies with a message backed by the European Commission. The firm defense of renewable energies and research projects that lead to the development of the technology needed for building increasingly efficient yachts make this event a must for our ACCIONA 100% Ecopowered.
